The Placement Cell is a full placement-management module built into Pinelogix CRM. The moment a student's admission is marked complete in the CRM, they become a placement candidate automatically — and from there the cell runs the entire journey: collecting resumes through secure links, moving students through custom pipelines, managing a recruiter database, and tracking every placement to the offer. Built for Parmanand Group's placement team.
The Problem It Solves
Most placement cells run on spreadsheets, shared drives, and WhatsApp. Staff chase students for resumes one by one, collect documents over email, and track who reached which interview in a sheet nobody trusts. Recruiter contacts live in someone's phone. There is no single view of how many students are placement-ready, how many resumes are still pending, or where each candidate stands.
Because admissions already live in Pinelogix CRM, we built placement as a native extension of it — so a student flows from enquiry, to admission, to placed, inside one system, with no re-entry and no lost candidates.

Automatic hand-off from the CRM When a lead reaches the "admission done" stage, a placement student record is created automatically — name, course, batch, and contact details carried over from the CRM. No duplicate data entry, no student forgotten.

Secure, self-service resume forms Each student gets a private link to a structured resume form — no account or password needed. The link is a one-time, 12-hour expiring token, so data collection is secure and time-boxed. Staff stop chasing; students fill in their own details.

A complete, structured profile The form captures everything a recruiter needs: personal details, education history (multiple qualifications), work experience for lateral candidates, skills and certifications, job preferences and expected salary, plus document uploads — photo, ID proof, certificates, experience letters — and a signed declaration with digital signature.

One-click resume generation From that structured data, the system generates a clean, standardised resume PDF for each student — every candidate presented in the same professional format, ready to share with recruiters.

Custom placement pipelines Admins design their own pipelines and stages — "Form Sent", "Resume Received", "Shared with Recruiter", "Interview Scheduled", "Placed", "Not Interested" — each with its own colour and terminal states. Drag a student from stage to stage and the whole cell sees it instantly.

Recruiter & organisation database A central directory of hiring companies with HR contacts, industries, and locations, so the placement team builds and reuses relationships instead of starting from scratch each season.

Activity log & dashboard Every stage transition is recorded against the student. A dashboard shows total candidates, resumes submitted vs. pending, and how students are distributed across the pipeline — so the cell finally has real numbers to report to management.
